Pleasing Others Over Yourself!

There is nothing that kills self esteem faster and more completely than compromising for the benefit of others.

You and I have been fed a borage of messages that propose selfishness to be a negative attribute.

And I'd say this: If we really thought selfishness was negative, why in the hell do we let others get away with being that way towards us?

Every attribute that you've been told not be, is something you've accepted as good in other people!

Why?

Self concept.

The way you see yourself is the way you will behave and dictates what you believe.

But even your beliefs hold tremendous amounts of bias and inconsistencies because what you hold as right and wrong for you is not the standard you hold for other people!

So now you've got to squash what you believe and pick it apart for accuracy and conflicts of interest.

Whatever you believe wrong should cross over into how you allow others to treat you!
