Pubic Hair and Money

I was looking at a documentary about the "Top 1 Percent" yesterday, and the founder of Kinkos named it that because he had kinky hair.

He said that he would have called it Peubs like in pubic hair because he thought his hair looks like it but felt it might be too inappropriate. He looked like the actor Will Ferrel in his old pics to me.

It was interesting to hear him talk about how he felt about money though. He was very comfortable with having a lot of it and wanting more.

He said he would take trips to the moon to look down on earth just so he could say, "That's my portfolio!"

Another one said that having a lot of money is a sin to a lot of people, but he looked at making billions of dollars as an "act of morality" because of one's ability to employ people and help people in general.

The wage gap is increasing and there's only a "symbolic" middle class because in reality, many people don't make a living wage these days.

I remember reading an article from CNN where it stated that 36 percent of people making 250k are in dept living check to check!

Rich people go to seminars on how to keep and grow their wealth past the 3rd generation.

Trust fund babies become philosophical philosophers because they have nothing else they need to do but contemplate on the ills of man's psyche.

As I observed some of the rich people talking about money, I saw NO morally conflicting emotions, no talk of fairness (because they know fairness is an idealistic fantasy that only the poor believe in).

They believe they are on an assignment -by God- when acquiring wealth and the rest of us believe we are on assignment -by God- to suffer in order to appreciate life, build character and become ready for the house with many mansions in the after-life.

I think that we let our deficits determine whether we can or can't have thing, no matter of its money or a husband.

We are hyper focused on failing, on getting something for nothing, on using people who are better at using people than we are, and we love to hear that we will fail.

This is why many of you seek out commentary disguised as counsel on why you should abandon your wish to have a good life.

It's time to rethink what you are able to achieve in this life. There are people, imperfect people all around us making a huge impact on our society and our lives, and you could damn well be one of them!

If you are embarrassed about having a lot of money, you are probably apprehensive about experiencing happiness in general. We've got to claim what we want, UGC!

Oh, and by the way, I am having a first ever panel discussion with MARRIED UGC women to discuss what it takes to get the guy, the ring and benefits and draw backs of being married.

You will see why marriage IS a benefit to you and why it IS very much a reality that many of you can experience with the right mindset and tools to protect you physically and emotionally!

It is interesting how we get caught in particular mindsets. When I read that 36% of people who made $250,000 a year managed to live paycheck to paycheck, that’s just crazy. I thought HOW can that be? Yes some cities have a higher cost of living than others. Student loan debt. High interest plastic. All of that.

But its the mindset. When they were making less money, they got accustomed to living paycheck to paycheck. Of running out of money before running out of month. Getting by. Once they started earning more and the paychecks expanded, the mindset didn’t. They probably spent more on retail therapy, increased their consumer debt and found themselves still working just to cover expenses.
