Time's UP!!

Let it go. Don't carry those bags of emptiness inside you into this new year. January is already over and you've got to keep the promises you've made to yourself. Save your pain for new wounds so that let the old ones can finally heal.

Your life is a gift.

Go outside and take in some fresh air.

Stretch. Drink water. Write in your journal. Do something creatively selfish. Don't worry about your looks today. Water the flowers. Cook and eat what you've made. Read something entertaining or educational.

We have to develop positive distractions especially in theses days and times because there's so much mess pulling us into worryville.

I truly believe that the best way to free oneself from anxiety and fear of failure is quit taking oneself too seriously. When you approach what you want, what you like, or what you want to be with a serious attitude, you become inflexible as you journey towards that thing you say you want to be.

And inflexibility reduces your 'seeing' skills. You begin to overlook solutions to your problems or hesitate to ask for help. You stifle your growth when you approach life with unnecessary heaviness.

Being afraid is normal, but being afraid of what won't harm you isn't.

Take inventory of all the things you are afraid of starting, of continuing or maybe of stopping, and ask yourself if your fear is based on a real threat or your imaginings of the possibility of being rejected.

And if it's rejection that has you hesistant, ask yourself what is the worst that rejection has ever done. You have been rejected before and survived; you got through it and moved on.

Rejection has yet to pull you into an eternal abyss.

People dislike the way you look, the way you talk, the way you act, the way you dress, your conceit or your cowardess RIGHT NOW, and yet, you are still alive, still thinking, feeling, laughing, making money, taking care of loved ones...

Rejection may have made you feel like shyte, but it has never stopped you from being a an alive being..

Honor your breath. Worship the breath in your lungs because that is what's sustaining you, not the approval of others..
