Fame is something that feels good cause it feeds the ego at first, then you get your "Nater Wake Up Call" like Paul Mooney would say and realize that you are no longer a person, more like a "product" owned by those who cut your check.
Michael Jackson tried to get out. Prince tried to get out. And you do get out, either dead broke or dead..
Nick Cannon got his Nater Wake Up Call, so did Dave Chappelle..
Brilliant talents who end up pinned to stake unable to make decisions about the brand they created...
When you do deals with the devil, its signed in blood.
With women it's especially hard because you've been told that there are time constraints on your "marketability" or value let's say. If you aren't cute enough to sexually exploit, it doesn't matter how talented you are, the devil will give less i.e. "Monique".
Contigencies should be planned out in conjunction with receiving the Devil's checks.
Why? Because he knows your expiration date and you sign knowing that there is one, but you pray for him to continue wanting to use you...
Once you get a few awards, just get out and start your own shyte because if you stay till the wheels fall of: you will lose!

Kimberly Johnson broke it down hunty😂 Fame is a beast you continually have to feed. If we stop feeding ego and nurture our soul we will find contentment in our true authentic self . Everything a woman ever needed is already inside her- society tells us we’re less than and need others approval and compliments to feel whole. Fame, stardom and beauty is an illusion. All real attributes resides in you - we don’t listen to the whispers in our hearts screaming you’re already great, beautiful, talented and full of potential. You don’t need to prove your worth or value with glam , material things or money-all these are fleeting but self love ❤️ that’s where the treasure lies.

I had to get away from my 9-5 and focus on being a mother. My children and I are experiencing some significant changes in our lives & relationships..... Also I utilize a talk therapist
